The Irishman is scheduled to hit theaters in 2019.
The long-awaited adaptation of the book I Heard You Paint Houses starring Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci among others is finally being made. It is directed by Martin Scorsese and marks the first time he has worked with legendary mob movie actor Al Pacino.
It also marks the return of Joe Pesci from semi-retirement. It could be the first and only time all three legends (Pesci, DeNiro, and Pacino) work together. The long-rumored project lingered in pre-production for many years before finally beginning filming in 2017.
Here’s hoping for an excellent 2019 movie season with The Irishman leading the way!
