RIP Frank Vincent

Frank Vincent, famous for playing mobsters Billy Batts and Phil Leotardo, died on Sept. 13, 2017 at age 80.

Vincent got his first major role in Raging Bull alongside Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci. DeNiro recommended Vincent to director Martin Scorsese after seeing him in the low budget The Death Collector also staring Pesci. He would go on to star in Goodfellas and Casino, both also directed by Scorsese.

Here he is as the soon-to-be boss of the Lupertazzi family which was often at odds with the DiMeo family headed by Tony Soprano in NJ.
